Shayno
It will be interesting to see how much Guardiola tries to change the team's personnel and playing style.
Deuce
Really good move for both sides. Bundesliga doesn't get enough credit, imo. Top-class league with excellent standard of football.
David28
Really good move for both sides. Bundesliga doesn't get enough credit, imo. Top-class league with excellent standard of football. It isn't. Games not involving the likes of Bayern, Dortmund and one of Leverkusen/Schalke/Hamburg/Bremen (who ever of them has 'their season') are a) totally one-sided or b) totally boring. ponsaelius
Something really unnerving about the German guy shirking the fan-friendly, cheap, standing terrace football he could go and watch to soak up Pardewball on TV every week.

High Five o
http://www.theshedend.com/topic/22683-guardiola-confirmed-as-bayern-manager/ Chelsea fans make me ill. :anguish: Fucking hell man  Just seen it on bbc news website HOORAY!!!! it would have been a total disaster if he had come here, not difficult managing barcalona at present, felt he was very overated. Now to the proper stuff. Jose get home quick! I suggest every game now jose songs must be sung! a protest against the fsw but without disrupting the team and letting roman know who we want and who we dont want!! people go on about roman doing this and doing that for the club! and yes he has done great things BUT us fans have made many a greater sacrifice following our team during these hard financial times. I bet many on here have got tickets for games over the last few years, and when clicking the confirm sale button on the web have felt guilty afterwards knowing they really shouldn"t of bought them because really we can"t afford to keep going to the game! but we go back, time after time to get more tickets, bet Roman doesn"t have to worry like that when he buys £50m worth of sh*te!! Roman??? you know it makes sense Rodney! get jose back and stop playing the billy big bollox!!!

Parky
How do people feel about this one then? He's certainly gone to a historic club. It's a mistake. The Germans are boring and mechanical - even the crowds chant as if choreographed. He's more fluid and creative and he needs time. They won't give him it. Should have come to the PL so Stoke could have kicked the shit out of his tiki-taka.

Simply because there's a gap between the cream and the middling teams doesn't mean the middling teams don't have quality. Look at how well German teams fare in Europe each year. The likes of Hannover, Monchengladbach, Stuttgart would clean-out West Brom, Fulham, (us) with ease. It is a top-quality league overall. Highly fan accessible and extraordinarily well managed. As the Germans do.

Guest tollemache
Good decision. Was afraid he'd put his reputation at the mercy of Abramovich or some other capricious berk and I'm delighted he hasn't. He's got a fantastic base to build from philosophically speaking because Bayern are already one of the best possession-oriented sides in the world, and if he does his job halfway well he'll win the Bundesliga in his sleep.
