Interpolic
Looks like the Colo stories came out 3rd January, no idea if we'd agreed a deal for MYM in principle or owt by then though. Hope there's no truth to this, but it does look like his heart isn't in it recently http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/transfer-zone/2013/01/03/3646268/-? Ronaldo
You'd think we would have, like. All conjecture, of course, but I can't imagine our lot being made aware of a player possibly being off and immediately rushing out to 'panic buy'.
Interpolic
I just can't see it personally, adding an extra £50k or whatever to the wage bill while spending the Ba money on the fee. We'll never know I suppose, was obvious they wouldn't be best suited to playing alongside each other like.
Ronaldo
Not that we've ever bought players with their suitability to the rest of the starting Xl in mind, like. Profit.
loki679
The MYM deal did look like decent planning though. Colo was getting on and fistpumps and Willo weren't up to scratch so we brought in a young, talented defender who had just captained his side to a championship. Half a season learning under Colo and he'd be ready to slot straight in the next season and take over the captaincy if and when it became available. I think that was the intention of the recruitment team anyway. Unfortunately they didn't bargain on our esteemed leader deciding he was a reserve right back. Mike
god damn Pardew. Fucking resign.

GeordieT
£4 million fee agreed. There had been hopes that Yanga-Mbiwa might be rehabilitated, but safe-for-now boss Alan Pardew has decided that the player has no future in the Premier League http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-united-hunt-new-defender-7884288
Ameritoon
The biggest fear was always Pardew hanging on long enough to destroy the team by selling players he doesn't know how to play. Hurts to see it get to that point.

LRD
Impresses Roma that they wanted to tie up a permanent deal before the agreed 4.5m end-of-season option. NUFC facilitates the sale of an in-demand player by accepting a discounted 4m fee.
SGSC
All you can do is laugh really. Happy for him though, didn't deserve to be treated the way he was by the cunt.
Mr Logic
Sickening. Ashley loses considerable credibility in the astuteness stakes when he sees players being sold at a loss all thanks to the mastermind Pardew.

Darth Crooks
Astute as he is a selling lee cooper converse knock offs and Lonsdale boxers; he knows fuck all about football, even if he is aiming to keep us at a certain level, the way we're carrying on will just get us relegated. It will be 4m + the 1m loan fee for MYM, a loss of 1.7m. Essentially peanuts to Ashley, considering we sold a few players for nice profits. Possibly the only way it would piss Ashley off is if MYM gets sold for big money as Roma did for Marquinhos and Benatia.
Darth Crooks
He needs to pay the 'peanuts' needed to sack the useless cesspit dwelling slime that's sending us down. He could have sold MYM for far higher and had the money back and then some. Really don't know what his stake in pardew is. What good is yes man if you are in the wrong league? LRD
My guess is Pardew is Ashley's 'ideal' manager by far - does the PR work, takes the abuse in steed of Ashley, low wages, accepts he has little to no say in transfers incoming or outgoing, keeps the club in an acceptable league position or maybe safe enough so that SD would not lose the global PL viewership - and that he thinks he can't get a better manager with those 'qualities'. Geordie Ahmed
I'm glad he is gotten away, playing for Pardew has put his career back a bit BUT it looks well back on track now, playing for a quality team and manager
Kanj
Perfect opportunity for the press and journos to question the FUCK out of this decision. 6.7M signing, didn't get on/get chance in his preferred position. Had we done the same to Colo in 1.5 seasons he'd have been gone too. He then goes on to Roma and plays brilliantly so far and they want to sell him 4.0M - FUCKING JOKE. He's going to get the call-up back to France shortly. Colo, Saylor, and Willo won't be closer to their national teams will they?
