Confident with the ball at his feet, read the game superbly well and showed good upper body strength when he needed to. Didn't let anything past him all game. At least across the entire league, although the top teams are quite a bit stronger here outside Roma and Juve. What is massively different is the style of play, it's a lot more tactical, narrow, slower and less direct. But the actual quality isn't, in any case he's starting for a team which is better than the large majority of teams in the PL but he's not good enough for the PLs worst team apparently.
