Kanj
I imagine its reduced pay off. Ain't no fucking way this skint fucking owner would allow for a contract for full fees of termination, there would be some reduced liquidated damages cost of a year or 2 IMO. Chron just see, oh, contract is for X years - gotta pay them all that, lykkk
toontownman
Good god why have we done fuck all still... This fucking clubs management fuck. Right now the one underlying priority and need is getting someone in that isn't Carver. Preferably a permanent candidate comes in now, but failing that I am happy for an interim til seasons end and get a new boss in May. Anything but keep charver from letting us nosedived into the relegation zone.
Varadi
Talkshite have picked up on the Schuster story - in talks today they reckon: http://talksport.com/football/exclusive-former-real-madrid-boss-schuster-set-newcastle-manager-talks-150122133359? AlanSkÃrare
Chronicle's piece about massive payoffs - can't help but think it's a deliberate ploy from the club to scare supporters into acceptance of staying with Carver.
Ankles Bennett
He got sacked by Malaga cos they failed to finish in the top half of la liga. Sounds just the man for us.........

KaKa
I think ultimately the club would prefer someone that is willing to have the three stooges as part of their staff. It's clear they hate handing out money.

Doesn't tend to stay at clubs for more than a couple of seasons. Hardly one for the long term either. The saga continues.

Despite Charver's warnings that if he didn't get the job full time here, he could quit to look for a full time job elsewhere, the flaw in that logic was the idea that anybody else would give him a job as manager. Based on what?

steve_69
Isn't Pardew, isn't Carver, isn't Kinnear, plays decent football, has won some stuff. Not ideal but i wouldn't be too disappointed. However, if he gets Derby promoted I doubt he'll come
Chicane
Waiting five/six months for Steve McClaren. Christ. I don't hate the guy or anything but the only feeling that comes to mind is 'meh'. Literally nothing to be excited or look forward to with this club. Apparently Sherwood has said he isn't interested in the job btw (according to Easy Ryder on twitter just now)
