Ronaldo
Still think he's the best option up top at this club. At this moment in time, most certainly. Cisse is absolutely hopeless at the minute.
STM
My favourite current player. Great attitude, tireless workrate, good with possesion, can beat a man and pops up with a few goals. Really good all round player IMO.
Dinho lad
Well taken goal. Upfront or on the wing, I'll think he'd do us a good job.
Fenham Mag
Delighted about how he has turned out, I thought he would go the way of Amaliftano but looks like we got a bargain. His energy reminds me of Bellamy's efforts for us.
Disco
Shame his song didn't get sung louder, one of our better ditty's and he deserved it. Played well today.

StrandedX02
Fucking love Yoan. Think he's my favourite player these days. I own a Gouffran shirt. When I got it, I was ceaselessly mocked by every other NUFC fan I knew. Don't think anyone's laughing anymore.
Robbo
Newcastle United FC @NUFCOfficial Goalscorer @YGouffran on nufcTV: "I just wanted to go and slide. I hurt my knees a little bit, got some grass burns, but it was wonderful.
Yorkie
Glad it was a header today (according to me Dad?); it's an aspect of his striker play that needs improvement.

Disco
The ball made it, to be fair. Rarity from Cabaye. Wonder what Pardle said to Cabaye before he swung it in. Superb ball like, now to do it from a corner.

Wullie
As soon as it left his boot you could tell it was different to his usual deliveries, flatter and quicker.
Unbelievable
The ball made it, to be fair. Rarity from Cabaye. It was an excellent delivery from Cabaye certainly, but it still needed good movement, a brave header under pressure from Ivanovic' swinging boot and a cool finish to steer it into the net. He's missed easier headers this season (was it West Ham from 2 yards out?), so it's definitely good to see him score a good header. He will never be the physical battering ram type of centre forward like Carroll who can make something from every hopeful hoof in the area, but Gouffran has good movement in the box (certainly better than Cisse's at the moment), so the more confident he is in finishing his chances, the better. Superb ball like, now to do it from a corner. I was saying to my mate right before the goal that it looked like Pardew told him to go round the back. Tactical genius! Superb ball like, now to do it from a corner. I was saying to my mate right before the goal that it looked like Pardew told him to go round the back. Tactical genius! Pardew said on SSN he did tell Cabaye to swing in around the back, he said Cabaye has great curl on his direct free kicks so he wanted him to put some on the one he took today. Fair play to Pardew as he added, it's ok me saying it but Cabaye has to get the delivery right and someone has to get on the end of it.
TRon
Fucking love Yoan. Think he's my favourite player these days. Same here. He's a proper Newcastle player is Gouff. 90 mins of running but with some touches of class in there as well.

For some reason I also imagined him waving with his arm as if to indicate a far post delivery. My bad.

maybe_next_year
I loved Gouff before it became trendy. I remember telling someone he was great and going to be a threat before the game we beat Bordeaux 3-0 in which he was completely anonymous and subbed after an hour. #outhipstered
