That's the thing people have been overlooking for weeks now.

It's all well and good Wigan doing the business going forward, but they can't defend for shit. They make our defence look like a 1980s Italian national side.

Edit:

oh man, giggs :( Still, conveys my emotion

My gilfriend took a quick look at this and saw the GIF in a glance.

She didn't believe me when I explained that I was just trying to know if you guys could avoid relegation or not and that this thread has nothing to do with me.

I don't know why I read them as they always wind me up but the comments after the BBC report are full of arseholes wanting Wigan to stay up at the expense of Newcastle. Why do people like Wigan? They don't even get that many fans in Wigan coming to see them. Apparently Wigan bring more to the Premiership than Newcastle. :icon_puke_r:

A lot don't like, I was with a Plymouth fan tonight (so neutral re prem) and he was celebrating goals with me - no affection for us, just thinks Wigan are a joke of a club to be in the prem.

Tbf it's always funnier to see a big club go down.

That said 'plucky little Wigan' can fuck off, wanted them down from the start of he season. Such a nothing little club, scraping by each season when they decide to play the last few games.

Horrible, pathetic little shites with dreadful, unfulfilled little lives want to see us go down. Ignore them.

I'd probably forgive someone who watched geet loads of football and not just motd. I've found it boring and frustrating as sin watching us this year so God knows how it looks to the neutral. Putting aside how we are as a club of course.

Everyone wants to see a big club down, you're definitely right there, but I also think that most people - whilst admitting Wigan have a perfect right to be in the top flight if they manage to avoid relegation - are now sick to the tits of them.

Lots and lots of people seem to think Dave Whelan is the most enormous cocksocket, too. Which he is.
