Deuce
Hate watching Arsenal play like, so predictable Wenger's been let down by a number of his players, but remains loyal to them. Drastic action may cause more damage than good. Ge that lots of new players or new manager A core of Arteta-Wilshere-Cazorla is very strong. Ramsey is well out of his league in that side. Giroud's alright, Podolski's good enough, and Walcott is...Walcott. They could really use a top striker and a whole new backline though.

Guest Phil K
.... and Walcott is...Walcott. They could really use a top striker and a whole new backline though. Yeah. Walcott seems to think if he produces once every ten games its enough. Consistency isn't his strong point Giroud is a bit of a fraud like Dunno though. Looks good at times, I think he'll come good more regularly next season
Ronaldo
Giroud is a bit of a fraud like Who'd probably get into our team without much trouble at all, fwiw.

Deuce
Giroud is a bit of a fraud like He was never going to be RVP 2.0, obviously. And with 14 goals and 10 assists this year, he's still done very well. But he's just not that guy to really strike much fear into opposing defenses. As been said, he may grow into the role. TBF to Arsenal fans, I think it's because of the current mockery of Gareth Bale "looking like a character from Planet of Apes" which is a bit daft in my opinion, but you know people. They want to have a dig at a rival when they don't have the nous to come up with something actually witty, so fall back on the likes of this. Arsenal fans wouldn't do something like this in a racist manner. This just backfired on them.

Still a far cry from the 37 they had from RVP last season. They've done well to spread-out the goal-scoring this year, with Giroud, Podolski, Walcott and Cazorla all hitting double-digits. But while ManU has RVP, Rooney, Hernandez and City has Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko in addition to their attacking midfielders and wingers, Arsenal has Giroud up top and that's about it. Mole_Toonfan
Considering Arsenal can score loads of goals in one game and score 0 the next game any striker's stats will always be very misleading its what you call stat padding. Just bringing numbers up don't tell the whole story.

Just bringing numbers up don't tell the whole story. Of course, but it's pretty cut-n-dry that Giroud is not nearly as talented as Robin van Persie. The College Dropout
Podolski - Giroud - Walcott are good players. None are top quality. When was the last time Arsenal played Spurs and Spurs had the best player? Had the better goalie? The better individual defender? etc. Honestly, only Cazorla and Wilshere would definitely get into the Spurs side. Maybe Walcott. Wild times.
