midds
Binned after 420 minutes of action. 7 hours to virtually sack off a young player adapting to a new league, language and culture who cost circa £13,000,000. Heads should fucking roll, like.
Dave
Bye, not arsed in the slightest.
Deputy Dawg UK
He is only on loan .... The cost to buy him back is the thing we should be interested in... He will return at the end of the season...and presumably his wages will once again be paid by us !
Tsunami
If ever the money trail should be investigated on a transfer it should be this one.
Guest palnese
What a spineless bairn. He should be ashamed of himself.
Holloway
I wonder if he can get back into that worst 11 of the season he was voted in just before we signed the onion faced mincer
Guest firetotheworks
The worst signing in living memory.
r0cafella
Surprised we did not try and get Batshuyi as part of the deal
Ayerso
Surprised we did not try and get Batshuyi as part of the deal Was thinking the same, you would think Thauvin and Cabella would go a good distance towards his fee

matta
I always tought Xisco or that Nacho Gonzales would be the worst signings in history of football. Thauvin managed to trump them.
colinmk
Does seem a bit fishy all this French coming and going carry on.
Big Geordie
Am nearly sure these French players we buy/have all have the same sports management company.........

BillClinton
Just another example of how disgracefully run we are.

Klaus
There is something more suspicious about this signing than simply 'he wasn't good enough' or 'Mcclaren didn't fancy him', imo. We have had a few of these, Chucky being another example, although he was only a loan.

Wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of agreement with this agency to use NUFC as a 'shop window' for French players.
ujpest doza
Taking a big wage cut apparently because we won't pay any of his wages. He must be desperate to leave. it was pretty obvious in his performances tbh. Never looked like he fancied it at all. He's never had many performances so I can't see how you can claim he didn't fancy it. He certainly fancied it against Arsenal early doors when Mitro got sent off and he certainly looked like he fancied it in the monsoon against Villa as well. Dokko
Hopefully that's the end of gambles like this and we can go with players who are suited to the league.
TRon
He really wasn't given a chance like. He was, he just managed to look half arsed every time he got the opportunity. Then was prepared to take a wage cut to get away which suggests he really didn't want to be here.
alpal78
Can't believe people are dissing him. He had so few games to show his potential, and in the games he played, he did show some nice touch, dribbling and commitment. Saying he is half arsed is just lazy stereotype. Look we're never gonna get top end English players coz they are just so dam expensive, so unless we are prepared to buy from the European market and give them a chance, we'll be getting more of Mike Williamsons, useless plonks but hey at least they are committed (read English).
