Disco Posted July 2, 2013 Share Posted July 2, 2013 Think the only way we'd ever have pulled this off was throwing cash at him in January although he's been true to his word with St.Etienne or trying to get in place a deal that was already set up like Norwich did for v.Wolfswinkel. Pretty pie in the sky stuff to expect our lot to do that and for him/them to agree for it though. For either failing to be able to stump up financially, or failing to get us into a position where we're an attractive proposition for him as a player. Tbh we could offer what we want and sell the club as much as we want, but Borussia are simply more attractive. It's if we've got no alternative that's the problem. Oh absolutely, but my point was that it's the clubs fault to some degree that as things stand we are indeed seen as considerably less atractive.
