HOW is Wilshere nominated?

Members of the PFA have voted for him more times than other players who are not on the list

Hazard? Hahahaha.

No surprise though these things are a joke as the players vote for them as they are idiots to a man.

Lack of nastasic(sp?) for young player is shocking too.

From the list ill take RVP and Benteke.

Nastasic hasn't played enough. Not even half of the season and I'm not sure how many were starts.

Benteke for the young player.

How many games did Giggs start the year he won the main one? 10, or so?

1 less game than Wilshire, again though doesnt split starts/subs

Edit: Welbeck 19 starts & 1 goal. Wilshire 20 starts. Nastasic 19 starts.

Insane how Michu isn't included.

Hasn't quite been as good as that lot imo.

Bale.

Carrick has been brilliant, but Michu's importance to Swansea's great season is more standout imo.  That's the swap I'd make.

Interesting that opinion has varied so widely on here. There's been some good individual performances, but it should be an even contest.

I think Wilshere has been outstanding since his comeback from injury.

I never mentioned Giggs. See below.

I'm not justifying anybody elses inclusion, this year or any other year. I don't think any of the three should really be in there. They've all been very good at some stage of the season but the awards should go to whoever was the best player over the whole season. Should be 30 games plus.

Suarez, reputation aside, unquestionably should win this.

He has also been consistently good throughout the season, Bale has been extraordinary in the second half but hasn't done it throughout the season like RVP, Suarez or Mata

Van Persie has only scored like two goals in his last twelve games. His second half of the season hasn't been great. He still contributes to the team even when he doesn't score, but I don't think he deserves it over Mata.
