Dr Venkman
Wonder if the talk of him wanting more (expensive) players in the squad next year with premier league experience, may mean that Ashley and Llambias do not regard him as such a good 'fit' after all. Aye, he needs to be careful how far he pushes this argument, because the chances of us signing those players are surely zero. I think he's been setting up his post season excuses for weeks. AyeDubbleYoo
They wont sack him. He's their mate. I think this point is massively overstated. Mike Ashley surely doesn't make decisions on this basis.
NEEJ
They wont sack him. He's their mate. If he was my mate and he was fucking about with my investment like that I'd give him a fucking hiding.
Tiresias
They wont sack him. He's their mate. To be fair their friendship probably only goes so far, he got bloody close to losing them all that extra TV money next season

Guest Haris Vuckic
Still can't see them sacking him - they don't like being wrong and they don't like looking daft. 8 year deal....

Varadi
I can understand the pessimism but I think he's gone. Ashley was at the match today and he has eyes, he's not the type to keep shelling out money and not getting results.

Ashley was at the match today and he has eyes, he's not the type to keep shelling out money and not getting results. He doesn't shell anything out though. People keep talking like Ashley still ploughs his own money into the club.

Parky
Yobo and Stubbs were a decent pairing, but apart from Rooney the rest is very average.

Ashley was at the match today and he has eyes, he's not the type to keep shelling out money and not getting results. He doesn't shell anything out. He's invested more than he'll feel he's needed to to narrowly avoid relegation. That money could have been paying off his loan.

Skirge
Neck on the line no doubt BUT I feel its not going to be until he is given at least 10 games into next season. I guess t may depend on how much blame the club takes over lack of summer signings, personally I don't feel that was the real issue, he was given decent reinforcements in January and we still did shit. Seems to me they're always together at the match and would be working quite closely behind the scenes.
Mattoon
Am I right in assuming we could theoretically finish in 10th? Not sure whether certain fixtures might prevent that? Imagine if by some fluke we hoofed Arsenal into submission and actually managed a backs against the wall 1-0 win and finished 10th?? That grinning moron would surely take some smug satisfaction that HE rescued our season and led us to a triumphant 10th place finish after a turbulant season where he did nothing wrong and the world was against him. I think I'd shoot myself!
