Dokko
Oh hi, 2010. Aye Nolan's a limited footballer on the whole but finds himself in good positions in the box. Yet some on here still wish that we had him due to how much Pardew has lowered our expectations. As a captain Yes, his goals absolutely, as a player no thanks. Great captain and finisher but a poor footballer and athlete.
TRon
Oh hi, 2010. Aye Nolan's a limited footballer on the whole but finds himself in good positions in the box. He's a good player for the likes of Tony Pulis or Sam Allardyce, managers of smallish long ball teams looking for mid-table security. Obviously he'd be quite well suited to Par'duhh as well in that he's far better suited to the game he understands than a lot of our more technical french players. Darth Crooks
Telling it takes an alleged paddy from the players to get us playing good football.
mrmojorisin75
so they can play football then? no chance the pardew factor has been dialled down, perhaps the negativity dialled down to 11 on a scale of 10 more convinced than ever if we'd jettisoned this fucking clown weeks ago and just let the players play we'd never have been in this mess not that we're guaranteed any points from this shit like, he'll probably try and lock 0-0 down at HT
Ronaldo
We know they can play some nice football, it just rarely leads to putting the ball in the net.
BrettNUFC
Lose this now and the Pardew haters will be out in force saying we have tried to hold on to a 0-0. Can see it already.

If we try and hold out for 0-0 after 45 mins then we will lose. Or West Ham come out with a bit more urgency second half and make it look like we are trying to hold out. Two seperate things. Not always down to the manager saying 10 men behind the ball at half time.

It's all semantics at this point, we're 17th with 3 games to go and we've just lost 3-0 and 6-0 at home, he's fucking rubbish.

They are a long ball team and long ball teams don't usually push enough men forward to dictate the game.

Not always down to the manager saying 10 men behind the ball at half time. one of the many problems i've had this entire season - you raise a valid point, there are 2 teams on the pitch, allardyce will make changes and they'll probably come at us...pardews job isn't to just sit by idly and watch it all happen like a helpless child, his job is to make his own changes that can enable us to win the match and particularly to counter any changes the opposition make as quickly as possible so the game doesn't get away from you a job he's failed to do on an epic level this season
