Guest icemanblue
I remember reading something very funny about your wife, i may have picked up the wrong end of the stick. She's not dead, is she? God, that would be awful. No she not.....f*** me that made me chuckle for some reason. She just a very big scary woman , who smells like a Viet Cong latrine as i once noted. Explains the scared silly monkey in your avatar.. Yes, but i'd like to know who added the "It's a Pard knock life", because i didn't do it, but i love it Think one of the admins has been on a custom title binge. Think Inochi's is new too. Just seen it. Canny, I like it. Thanks, Richard.
Interpolic
Since I sort of like stats in my daily life n'all and there's been much talk about the uplift in form since the new players came in, the important stats are here: http://i.imgur.com/WtJDiUk.jpg Now I'd be interested to do similar stats after the new player 'bounce', i.e. the point at which we seemed to almost revert to type after the initial boost of new signings. Where would you draw the line if we wanted to look at those stats? Villa 2-1 Chelsea 3-2 Spurs 1-2 Southampton 4-2 Swansea 0-1 Stoke 2-1 etc Just think it would be interesting to see the stats when you cut out a few games where we were clearly buzzing off the new signings. Swansea away was the last game I thought we played well in, before the slump. We didn't create much and ultimately lost to a fucking wank goal but that was up there with the best performances this season imo. Cool, here you are: http://i.imgur.com/x6yPhu1.jpg
huss9
The day we can close this thread will be a thing of beauty. I pray that the radio show cancellation is a good sign has the phone in been cancelled? I did post earlier but no one answered yeah been set back and to be "re arranged after the arsenal game" hmmmmm. interesting. two plus two equals four, or is it five? think Ashley's asked him to not to? Hanshithispantz
We've definitely improved above what was certain relegation form, yes, and we should improve further with a pre-season behind the new guys providing that not replacing Pardew won't equal a bit of an exodus*. *It does massively depend on who stays and who goes though, just look at how awful we've been without Coloccini under Pardew for example. That's one thing that get's overlooked by some, we may very well be having to gel in another 3-4 starters next season.

It's a difficult business to judge but keep in mind that the only top team we've played in those 9 games since Swansea is Man City, the next best being Liverpool. Hanshithispantz
If this was a 24 team league and therefore 6 games longer I really don't think it would improve by much if at all. We look dreadful at the moment and we're really lucky that the season is over when it is imo.

Exactly, people say we haven't been lucky this season, but I'd argue our luck stems to having 3 teams in the league that have managed to be shitter than us somehow. Previous seasons would have seen us go down IMHO.

NewJerseyMag
Benitez available and we stick with this mug. Unfortunately, Pardew is perfect for the ownership, as their ambition matches one another, which is nil. All they want is mid-table and a nice set of accounts: cut it a bit fine this year! Ryan_Taylor
You would think accounts would be a top reason to sack this clown. Relegation costs.

Hughesy
If you actually read the article, he isn't really touting Pardew for the Man City job at all. The headline is somewhat sensationalist and misleading.
