I'm pretty sure you guys will make it, you're a Classic European Club.

Classic Clubs rule!  :rose:

Somehow I feel a tiny bit more optimistic with the likes of yourself, Neil, Leffe and Wacko around. Pray for us jotenko man. Pray for us.

Of course.  :rose:

If we survive the drop, and you prove to be a sexy minx of a lucky charm, I pledge to donate 30 Euros to the SLB forum you came from  :aww:

They'll just spend it on softcore gay porn.

 All the better. More fun for you no? :shifty:

No time for jokes now, it's time to get together and try to save NUFC from relegation, and myself pray to win EL and Portuguese League.

:ben:

Aye right.

The Mackems are in a decent run of form, I don't think they'll win tonight but I think a draw's probably on the cards. I think we'll get something from the next 3, we followed up our last dreadful result with a semi-decent performance and good point, some slight (naive) hope.

Nah Mick you're right man, honestly. There's no chance at all of us staying up with Villa and Wigan breathing down our necks. We're completely f***ed.

Where have I said that?  I can't see us getting another point this season and I wouldn't say that Wigan and Villa will not get the points they both need, I haven't at any time said that they will get them.

Both of those teams are playing good football and are capable of winning games, Villa could be above us tonight if they win by less than Liverpool put past us in one game.

We have to go to QPR man, I don't know how you can expect Wigan and Villa to pick up points yet also believe that QPR are a certainty of beating us? We're a poor side, yes, but assuming that we will lose every game now until the end of the season isn't being "realistic", it's being incredibly fucking negative.

Before we played West Brom we'd lost our last 4 away games, why should the 2 after WBA be any different to the 4 before?  Our last game at home is against Arsenal, that should be a piece of p*ss.

Less of this nonsense Hans. As Wullie noted, it is a 100% certainty that we're going down. It's basic mathematics mate. There may be a 5 point gap and Wigan may be utterly woeful, but the numbers don't lie. Don't let the Pardew apologists bring you to their level. What's done is done.

Head still lodged firmly up the manager's arse I see.

You were saying safety was 100% guaranteed a couple of weeks ago so that's canny rich. Your statement was far more ludicrous than mine is.

That's not even physically possible ffs, love these english expressions.

I don't think the players realised the shit they were in then Mick (as stupid as that sounds) but surely with the extra pressure now on them to get something plus West Ham and QPR having nothing to play for apart from wanting to beat us we should expect our players to be more fired up and motivated than the opposition.

By the same token, why are you so certain that Wigan are going to get 5 more points than us?  Their form might be getting better, but there is a reason why they are 5 points behind us.

Both are fairly ludicrous TBF, but I'm extremely worried at this point.

I hope the players are motivated, I also hope we get the first goal in these games because I can't imagine how low the confidence must be.  We’re under massive pressure, some people are brilliant under pressure while others fold.

The daft thing is, we're all on here totally pissed off while they (the players and manager) were back home resting before I'd had a morning break.

I'm not certain that Wigan are going to, I'm certain that if they do we're screwed.  They're also 5 points behind because they've played less games.

Been thinking back to the Stoke game in march where Pardew said something like "I think we are done" regarding relegation worries and also this from Marveaux http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8557181/Newcastle-s-Sylvain-Marveaux-says-everyone-is-relieved-at-being-close-to-safety

I think this, and post fulham the players completely switched off which is bad form from pardew. Just hope they can turn in a performance on saturday because we're on the brink.

I watched the 93 minutes on Saturday and we don't look capable of getting anything from our remaining games.  We've just been totally pissed on and we'll take nothing out of that game.

Can't believe they trust Pardew so much, just crossing my fingers and hoping we would stay up . Unnerving times .

What we are forgetting is that we still have a far better squad than West Ham or QPR. There's no reason for us not to get results there IF we can get the right players out there with the right plan and the right motivation. That's all it will take, and obviously no tinkering with suicidal subs from Par'duh.
