binnsy
we could really do with Carroll crashing into Nolan in training on Friday, clash of heads causing both to miss out with concussion!! :-)
Ryan_Taylor
Just hope Carroll has a 'bad' day....nudge nudge wink wink Andy.... I don't fear Carroll as much as I do Nolan. Carroll probably wants to come back one day and has a lot to lose, Nolan will do anything to score. Yep i'm s*** scared of Nolan, especially considering the space between our back 4 and midfield at the moment. He can have the ball in there all day, he's no threat outside the box Nolan depends on Carrols flick on's....something I hope are going to be few far and between. Jordan
I reckon Pardew won't learn anything and will go there for a 0-0, he will play Shola, Perch, Jonas, Simpson (No choice) and probably williamson(for Mbiwa) as experienced players. I expect Sissokho to be dropped. I would personally start with Cisse and Gouffran up front, Ben Arfa right and Marveux left but he won't be thinking that and I know what your thinking - but who will mark Carroll and Nolan at set pieces, Shola of course it's obvious Gouffran doesn't have a hope in hell of starting with Pardew in charge. I get the feeling he, quite rightly, ignores the cunt's instructions and attacks.
alexf
Just fucking go for it. If we try to play it all sensible and patient they will eventually score like everyone does against us anyway

Ronaldo
Nolan depends on Carrols flick on's....something I hope are going to be few far and between. Nolan doesn't, he scored shit loads when Carroll had left. He scored twice after Carroll left, dunno if that constitutes shit loads.

Interpolic
Biggest game in our recent history, I don't fancy our chances of bouncing back again if we go down and the longer we leave it without getting a win the bigger lottery it is.

Yep i'm shit scared of Nolan, especially considering the space between our back 4 and midfield at the moment. Well considering we had three defensive midfielders against Liverpool and still couldn't stay with any of their runners it's got to be a concern. Nolan can't run granted, but he shouldn't find it too difficult to amble into space while Perch works out whether he's supposed to be playing ahead of Tiote or Cabaye. Ryan_Taylor
So many simple tactical things we could do to make this game winnable. You know we won't do them
ujpest doza
Time to break out the 'Attack Attack Attack' chant yet? We could do a lot worse. Better than Geordie Boys taking the piss blasting out of Leazes level 7 corner when we're 6 nil down.
Dave
Before the Liverpool game I figured we'd probably lose but was repeating over and over in my head 'just win, it's one game, just win'. This is no different. Blind faith.

Ketsbaia
It's all about the Colo. With him replacing MYM we get Prem experience, organisation and a better defensive line. I'm hoping and praying it makes a big difference.
