Kaizero
Watching the 5-1... The complete and utter joy the players had beating them knowing how much it mattered. The piles of players on Nolan.
Kaizero
Didn't even know I missed Carroll, but watching this match fills me with sadness, not joy.
54
Watching the 5-1... The complete and utter joy the players had beating them knowing how much it mattered. The piles of players on Nolan. Even though we now have better players, I would have Nolan back, just for his passion, you could tell wearing the shirt meant something to him. George Bailey
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8855497/newcastles-greatest SBR way out ahead. Voted Harvey myself. Not sure if any of us would have 1st hand knowledge of Watt Looking at that 3 makes you proud though. Harvey, Keegan and Robson. What players and entertainment we had. henke
http://www.manutd.com/en/Club/FAQs/Ticketing/Question-15.aspx They've been doing that for a few years now. They played Barnet or somebody at home in one of the cups and about 12,000 turned up so now all season ticket holders get stung for cup tickets wether they want them or not. AyeDubbleYoo
Pretty harsh that. Don't see why people who also fork out a fortune for a season ticket should be forced to buy games they don't want to go to.

They can opt out, but they don't get considered for when they reach a final of a cup despite how many points they've acquired. Know a mate's dad who was stung by that. We have a marketplace thingy on the intranet at work and it's always full with Man United tickets, everytime there's a cup or champions league game even there's literally dozens of tickets going cheap. £50 face value seats going for £15 to £20. Ameritoon
Sounds absurd, but I guess if you opt out of League Cup that only leaves a few extra games of the FA Cup and the Champions League, which I assume most want to go to. Still, people shouldn't be forced to buy a ticket for a game they know they can't make.
henke
Comes down to what i was saying above, they were embarrassed about the ground being 80% empty for a cup match.
Dokko
Total pisstake considering Manu couldn't be arsed to take part in the FA cup a few year back now they punish their fans if they dare miss a league cup match.
Guest neesy111
Should had done what Arsenal do for the League cup then, offer 10 quid tickets and a fiver for kids and get the place full.
