Darth Crooks
I listen to total sport most nights and it's utter shite. So many inarticulate people on and dogshit punditry.

Why do you keep listening? Most do it to build up enough rage so they can beat the other half more effectively.

TK-421
I listen to total sport most nights and it's utter s****. So many inarticulate people on and dogshit punditry. I've stopped listening now. Last time I did (last week), Steve Howey was on again, once again aportioning most of the blame for current position on the players. That was it, I was out. Otherwise, I'll end up crashing me car on the way h'yem one evening!

They love flair, but what they really want to see is that hard work and grind in a day’s work and Gouffran did all that and more today.” ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED
Village Idiot
In sadly increasingly non-shocking news, Thiago tears again a ligament in his first day back in training.

LRD
That's his third knee ligament tear, presumably in the same knee. Sadly, one of the worst injuries a footballer can get.

Guest
I think the ball too. Robert had a technique where if he hit the ball spot on it was perfect, but could use the exact same technique but maybe hit it a centimetre or so out, it'd look ghastly and hit the first man. PSV Uefa QF being the perfect example. Dictionary definition of how to take a corner.

Beren
The delivery is important, but the movement and aerial prowess is severely downplayed (and worse) these days, especially at Newcastle. Compare Sissoko with Speed ffs, it's humiliating. Man Utd had excellent movement in the box on set pieces under Ferguson. Always some late runs into the box. AyeDubbleYoo
Yep, it's at least as much about the desire/ability of the players in the box to be the first to head it. Obviously all of this is rendered obsolete if you just howk it to a CB at the back post and always lose the challenge.

He struck the ball really high to impart heavy topsin. When he struck it right it was so fucking beautiful and unstoppable. Twas a routine he, Shearer, Speed and others worked on in training. Village Idiot
Interesting Copa del Rey draw. Atlético, Madrid and Barcelona on the same side of the draw, with only one of them getting to semi-finals. http://img02.mundodeportivo.com/2014/10/17/Asi-queda-el-cuadro-de-la-Copa_54418001767_54115221154_600_396.jpg
