Flip
I saw that the other day. Basically it amounts to 2 countries have the same 3 letters in their names. Not really, more factors than that.

TaylorJ_01
When Sweden play Denmark, the score in the corner will read Swe-Den and the unused letters are Den-Mark. Alternatively, it would read Denswe, is that what you want?
BlueStar
When Sweden play Denmark, the score in the corner will read Swe-Den and the unused letters are Den-Mark. Alternatively, it would read Denswe, is that what you want? Yes. Amazingly, the remaining letters would then spell MarkDen.

BlueStar
I saw that the other day. Basically it amounts to 2 countries have the same 3 letters in their names. England and Switzerland have four letters the same, but the score would read Eng-Swi and the remaining letters would spell Land-tzerland Checkmate, atheists. leffe186
Just checked the origin. Looks like it's "average number of consecutive seasons played by footballers on the pitch in the first-team squad of their club". In other words, because we've got so many young players, they've actually been at our club 4-5+ years, but only count as 1-2 because they've been in the U-21s, or on loan. Interesting nonetheless, but pretty useless in our case.

SEMTEX
Anyone post this shit yet? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34800391 Football League to be rebranded as 'EFL' at end of 2015-16 season The Football League is to be renamed the "English Football League" (EFL) from the end of the 2015-16 season. The EFL will have a new logo as part of its rebranding. But the individual league titles of the Championship, League One and League Two - introduced in 2004 - will remain. "The new EFL name rightly emphasises the central role our clubs play at the heart of English professional football," Football League chief executive Shaun Harvey said. "We believe the EFL name and brand will give our competitions an identity that is new and distinct, while at the same time retaining our unique heritage." Clubs, stakeholders, commercial partners and more than 18,000 fans have been involved in a consultation process prior to Thursday's announcement. 'Murica is taking OVER. Stifler
It started with the Premiership calling itself the English Premier League, now this. It's all a marketing ploy to sound similar to the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS of America. Just wait until the EPL realise that they could make more money by selling the TV rights direct to the customer, £40 a month just to see EPL, the EFL will follow with £20 a month for EFL matches.
