Coaching career going great since he was given the bullet

Former Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa and England midfielder Steve Stone, 44, has put his Victorian stately home in Northumberland up for sale for £1.5m after he and his wife decided to move to Dubai to be with their daughter. (Birmingham Mail)

This was discussed a few days ago. You don't go to jail in Spain for a first offence, if it's less than 2 years of prison time.

The article is crap, I guess they didn't bother checking how our legal system works.

It also seems that sending him to jail for tax evasion would be pretty stupid considering he's probably outsourced all that s*** to a licensed tax accountant.

You might as well lock up the patient for malpractice when a surgeon has cut their wrong leg off.

Different countries, different laws, different details etc. but isn't that generally always the case when mega-rich people commit tax evasion? Didn't stop Blade from going to jail. By all accounts, if Mascherano had a longer sentence... he would be going to prison.

He's indicated he's going to take legal action against the company that was managing his money affairs till 2013-14.

Bit of a long shot this but does anyone have the video clip of a fan of Jarrow Roofing that was dubbed the loudest fan in football and he kept on shouting "FOOTBAAALL" at random times during the match ?

Not sure what triggered me to remember this quote but I forgot how funny it was from Martin O'Neill/John Robertson

John Robertson (a key O'Neill assistant down the years) once said, 'If every team in Italy has pre-match pasta for their meals, how come three get relegated each year?'”

When was the last time an opposition player was sent off against NUFC?

Random question that popped up in conversation today, wondered if anybody knew off the top of their head.

Johnson from Norwich Jan 14

Probably when Stoke had two sent off and we put a few past them.

Edit: almost.
