Still Not Worthy Of A Thread

Saw Lee Hurst do standup less than a year ago at the comedy venue he owns in London, which is the Backyard Comedy Club in Bethnal Green. He was really funny like, think he was seriously ill for a while though hence why he disappeared.

I live literally less than two minutes walk  from there and have never been in, looks decent from outside, would you recommend it? Have never usually heard of the rest of the acts on and it's so hard to motivate myself for the journey.

Would 100 per cent recommend it yeah, been a few times. It's one of the best places in London to see new or cult standup, it can be a mixed bag but less so than these gigs where the comics are that new that they're not yet getting paid for them. They generally have 3 comedians on a night and I've always really liked at least 2 of them. Compere is always very good too.

Rumours that the Sunday Times will expose a Premier League doping scandal tomorrow, with 150 players investigated. Performance-enhancing drugs, so I'm assuming our lot are in the clear.

If Leicester are the main offenders I will cry

Hate when these stories come every once in a while and nobody is ever named specifically. It's pointless without names

Have you not heard of libel laws etc.

Leicester, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. Interesting names from some of the clubs.

Arsenal: Welbeck and Gabriel

Chelsea: Traore, Willian, Costa

Spurs: Alli, Toby and Lamela

Bloke claims to be an editor for ESPN. Could be bollocks.

It's Richard Wright, Cristian Gamboa, Michael Carberry, Peter Kennaugh, Lakva Sim, Guido Pella and Ernests Gulbis...allegedly.

Charlie Austin to Newcastle is a DONE DEAL. Mike Ashley was reluctant to pay that much, but Steve McClaren managed to convince him.
