LFEE
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25235277 f*** off Platini. I didn't bother clicking the link thinking it was about how he's changed the whole World Cup draw to help France...
Ameritoon
I wouldn't be totally against the idea, but it shouldn't be over five minutes.
Deuce
PENALTY BOX. Just need to authorize fist fights and the sport will officially be better than hockey.

Guest diddimz
Stupid idea really, if he wants to make Yellow Cards actually mean something, allow post game punishments to also include incidents the ref does see, so that if someone picks up a yellow for a dangerous tackle, they still run the risk of missing a game because of it. Cup winners getting into the Champions League would at least give back some value to the FA Cup as well, which wouldn't be a bad thing.
Guest
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtic_Nation_F.C. Just heard about these on one of my mate's Facebook last night. Carlisle-based and currently in the Northern League being bankrolled by a millionaire and have a striker on more than £1k a week. Reckons its being used as Celtic's backdoor route into the English League. Will be interesting to keep tabs on!

Tiresias
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2013/dec/06/yaya-toure-manchester-city-notebook?CMP=twt_gu nstead of which it seems to be part of the lore of English football that nobody ever learns, nobody ever gets better, that players simply carry on doing the same thing for ever until eventually, like dying robots, they simply have to stop. Just look at Andros Townsend, who has talent and speed and brains and who has been at his most effective, albeit with diminishing returns, attacking down the right in a manner reminiscent of a fly repeatedly battering its head against a window pane until six hours later by chance it slips through the gap and veers out triumphantly into the sky. All very well for now. But he really could do with a notebook.
