All lower league teams to have 3rd round games played at home? Similar to Germany.

Doubt that'd go down well. Big clubs losing out on a lot of revenue from home games...

Thought the gate receipts were halved in the FA cup?

Well then there'd surely be no point in changing it at all? If anything should play at the place with highest potential attendance.

Aye. Surely the smaller club would rather have half of 30,000 tickets than half of 2,000.

If you just want to make money, yes.

Not sure if I agree with scrapping replays, as the whole point of a cup run for lower league teams is the money it brings and this often from them earning a replay away at a Premier League team or whatever. Perhaps a system where teams can agree before the fixture to bin off the replay if it's mutually sought to do so?

personally I'd say if a lower league was drawn against a prem (lets say league 1 and below) they get the choice of venue (ie home or away) instead of it being predrawn and keep the entire gate revenue (prem clubs don't need it) to make up for no replays

He's absolutely fucking woeful. There is no English division he'd succeed in because he'd get nudged off the ball with great ease in the lower leagues, and he's just far too slow and far too bad at all the footwork he tries to succeed anywhere near the Premiership/Championship.

Freddy Adu rejected by Blackpool.

Turning "25" this summer.

Didn't think he was even being considered for a contract. Just training with them.

But 'Tex is right, he wouldn't cut it in the Championship.

Defoe staying with Spurs until this Friday instead of moving straight to the MLS in January worked really well. In that time he came on as a sub twice, one a 5 min farewell appearance at WHL.

And now Toronto will get a hamstrung player.

Got chased through Stevenage by a bunch of kids with belts and chains when I was a nipper.  Horrible place full of southern mackems.

 I thought it's always a significant time out when a player has done his hamstring. Maybe he had a little scratch on the muscle. :dontknow:
