Anyway, it's just Arbeloa talking about himself and his career. Who the f*** cares about Arbeloa talking about himself and his career?

He only has a few quotes about some players and managers he's worked with, but nothing surprising.

1) Ronaldo (the fat one) often asked which team they were playing against before taking the pitch.

2) Benítez is a very methodic, almost obsessive, manager but doesn't cultivate his relationship with the players.

3) Xabi Alonso doesn't easily get along with others.

4) The relationship between Mourinho and the players deteriorated significantly during his last season at Real Madrid.

5) He doesn't want to speak about Casillas (sort of implying that they can't stand each other)

He paints a bit of a cutthroat view of football "I don't need to be an example to anybody" - when talking about unsporting behavior to get an advantage. Also how your dressing room mates are also rivals that can take your place, that football is actually an individual sport where the thing that matters the most is how you perform since you don't control what others do.

I really enjoyed the bit about Ronaldo for obvious reasons, (calling him the best and what would've been of him and Ronaldinho if they had the same dedication as CRonaldo) as well as the one about Mourinho and the dressing room. You get a better insight into what goes on at clubs when players speak that freely. Imagine if someone else except for Ben Arfa and came and told us about Pardew being a massive c***. Like an ex-player like Ba.

Just discovered that Galatasaray play "I will survive" every time they score. Presumably this is followed by "I'm too sexy for my shirt" and a reach around.

"It's raining men".

 Schalke used to play "I will survive" when they scored. They have some really dodgy ones in the Bundesliga.

Went to the Leverkusen–Liverpool CL game in 2005. The looks on the Liverpool fans' faces when Leverkusen scored and they started playing "Rockin' all over the world".

They were all like, WTF??, for 20 seconds, and then we sang the song for the rest of the game

Best one IMO is Hoffenheim: they play a drinking song "Was wollen wir trinken 7 Tage lang" (What do we want to drink all week long?)

France had 'I Will Survive' as their bit team anthem when they won the World Cup, there's clips of them in the changing rooms bouncing around going mental singing the tune from it. Maybe not the most appropriate song but I guess you can't choose these things, it just happens.

I get the impression that aside from him being interesting from the outside looking in, I'd feel extremely uncomfortable being around him. He's exactly the type of person that you only meet in your own house whilst on the verge of a paranoid come down.

Man City fan being interviewed on SSN and being asked what it feels like, his response "It's a weight off our shoulders". Is that it?, thats your response, you have just won the title and he has a face and reaction like the bus has just turned up after being a few minutes late.
