Guest Roger Kint
Allowed to train with Barca but otherwise ban remains. Thought that might happen, not being allowed to train was a bit OTT. Seems like he can play in friendlies too(for international as well)
SEMTEX
Well that shouldn't be allowed. Uruguay & Barca will just end up playing 100 friendlies between now and the end of his ban.
Mole_Toonfan
Well that shouldn't be allowed. Uruguay & Barca will just end up playing 100 friendlies between now and the end of his ban. Do agree. Not got a problem with the training part, but the friendlies part could be an issue.
olliemort
A bit ott not being allowed to train? Biting a fellow footballer three times should be banned for life
Pilko
In theory, he could gan train in a field in the middle of nowhere with a coach on a video linkup or summat. Hard to police that one.
Village Idiot
FIFA only has authority on what FIFA does. They can't ban him from training or for games they (or member FAs) don't organize. I guess he'll play this Monday then? Now I have reason to go to the Gamper; won't be able to see our 80 million player until almost Christmas. SEMTEX
Yeah but they can make up stupid rules along the lines of "you play a non-FIFA game, then we will extend your FIFA ban", surely?

They can't make up rules as they go, though. And I'm pretty sure regular courts would have a field day if they tried to strong-arm somebody out of employment this way (training is ultimately what clubs pay players for). What the CAS has ultimately done is saying "you can have your playing ban, but not the other stuff".
timeEd32
NBC Sports and Uber have teamed up to provide club branded Mini Coopers available all weekend. NBC is using the NUFC car (which looks awesome) in their promo, which is pretty cool. I'm going to get one later this afternoon. I better not get a Sunderland car.
