Ryan_Taylor
I know it sounds daft, but after this weekend's hilarity I had an epiphany, or a reaffirmation of the truth - these c***s will always be desperately s***. The last two scares I had of them coming good were the seasons they had Millwall in the cup, and the Peytar Reyud season when the finished 7th. It is s*** that they have walloped us at home twice, but here's the rub - if they go down, Poyet will leave, if they stay up, Poyet will get poached by a better club. There is literally no manager worth his salt that would want to p*ss away his years at Sunderland, and every time they fluke their way to something good, the absolutely s*** their own bed. Regardless of the fortunes of their new revolutionary manager, the club will always be an absolute shithouse with desperate w*****s as fans. The whole of that could be directed at Newcastle. The whole of North East football, apart from the fans, is a joke. Who the fucks poaching our manager like?

samag
http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/26514159 Gus Poyet: Some Sunderland critics 'have not got a clue' Does he really mean the fans ? The wheels are really coming off the bus then

Well certainly I think both clubs have a history of shitting the bed when things begin to look rosy, but I disagree about the fans being the same, and similarly, our experience in the recent history has shown that as a club, we can attract and keep excellent players and managers. It is my opinion that we have been a much more attractive destination for players and managers recently - although this really isn't the case now. STM
Poyet has them playing a nicer style of football but its not really much better. I thought they would give Hull a good game but Sunderland looked toothless. Resting players is hardly an excuse, as Hull were missing their two strikers. I thought Poyet might keep them up but im starting to think they might not now. I do believe there are 3 worse teams than them.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
NUFC could do Sunderland a favour by winning our next two games against Fulham and Crystal Palace. If we lost them it would pile the pressure on for the other teams at the bottom.
Hanshithispantz
I'd be tempted to throw both games for the sake of not starting on -6 points next season. EDIT: Don't actually think that makes sense, sooo.
STM
Na, thats the sort of shite they would say. Lets beat both of em and hope the mackems go down anyway.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
I definitely want to win both games. It's just amusing that a lot of Sunderland fans will hope we lose even though our winning would help them.

Disco
Won't happen as we tend to only throw games the fans would like to win.
Ketsbaia
Won't happen as we tend to only throw games the fans would like to win. This. It's sod's law, really. Palace beating us would be a huge help to a mackem relegation.

Lenny
I'd rather we won the Palace game, thanks. It's the first time I'll have seen us play in a few years

Teasy
Is anyone here serious about wanting us to lose either of our next two games? I mean I know we aren't exactly going places, but I just couldn't bring myself to want us to lose just because it might help Sunderland go down. Fuck Sunderland I'm sure they can handle relegation on their own.

LucaAltieri
Fulham are irrelevant. Hope we beat 'em. Palace could go any way, tbh. I'd still like to see us win but I'll be happy win, lose, or draw.

Fuck Sunderland I'm sure they can handle relegation on their own. Exactly, I want us win as many games as possible and the fate of Sunderland is not up to us. If they stay up - fine, if they go down - champion. I'm far more concerned with the problems at this club than worrying about that lot.
