We actually have a positive score. Next has negative 600. This place is amazing sometimes if only the power could be used for something productive

You saying that voting on a poll that never ends isn't productive?

Really tickled me for some reason.

Do they think that more people will support them as a second team because they've rigged a poll?

Concrete evidence marra, for the two fundamental pillars of being a sunderland fan:

1) RTF marra

2) all opposition fans hate the mags

Concrete.

Theres a regular texter in the Star who claims they have never booed, abused or been against any safc manager unlike us. Mackemlogic - say it often enough and it becomes absolute fact

I think it can be summed up in a relatively simple equation:

Obsessive small man syndrome + Absolutely nothing to do in that ramshackle hovel + High unemployment/lot of time on hands - self esteem = This sh*t.

RTF (Official second team of the Premiership marra, FACT)

I think it means getting your cock out and twirling it around, hence 'windmilling'.  What a strange bunch.

From Urban Dictionary:

windmilling

The act of spinning one's penis around in the fashion of a windmill, usually with the intent of hitting someone in the face. Sometimes done while urinating.

Mr. Bean was windmilling the school children.

Yeah...

This NP decision is bizarre. So we've gone from proposed bubble trips, steel fencing, and escorts to and from the ground, to the freedom to roam and possibly cause mayhem right in the centre of a city.............. in the space of 11 months? I know the MH17 disaster brought a new found respect between many of the rival fans, me included, but will that really be enough to curb the drunken excesses of the minority?

I hope I'm wrong, and I'm certain the vast majority of fans will behave, but you only have to look at some of the comments online to see that there's still quite a few knuckle-heads who fancy a battle. Hopefully it's internet bravado and they'll lose their bottle when it comes to the day, and NP and those fans won't have blood on their hands.

On the other hand, if this gamble by the police pays off then it may well be the dawning of a new era in the countries best derby. I truly hope so.

Common sense.

Personally I think having loads of lads (from both sides) going about in groups of 10 or 15 is going to end in carnage. There's very real potential for serious disorder and some poor fuckers are going to get seriously hurt. No idea who, where or what team they follow but all it takes is one pub to go up at about 11.30 and it'll be running battles for the rest of the day. Obviously the Police will have a heavy presence in town but they can't be everywhere at once.

It's going to be an absolute disaster but I actually agree with the idea that NP wouldn't be too unhappy with a bit of bother as it'll prove them right about the bubble trip thing. It's very Machiavellian from the top plod but I think he'll get his bubble trips as a result.
