Toon Hoser
Adam Johnson returns to training. Very weird decision. He's going to need one hell of a thick skin, the abuse he will get if he appears on a football pitch will be incredible. Also, if he is ever found guilty - Sunderland will be known as the team who happily played with the paedo (no pun intended). Have heard they're going the whole way and renaming the ground Paedoland in order to pull in a key demographic. Although you'd have thought they have that market cornered, etc etc. There's a photoshop with the Stokoe statue crying out to be made.

STM
Do we have to give them 3 points? Would be lovely to see them go down.
toontownman
Can't see QPR or burnley picking up enough to get past them unfortunately.
Ketsbaia
That's the kind of goal that relegated teams get. All the grafting, only for late heartbreak. Awful match, though. West Ham deserved at least one penalty.
Ronaldo
Can't see QPR or burnley picking up enough to get past them unfortunately. Burnley are a point behind, no? Then again, I guess Sunlun are almost guaranteed 3 points from their next fixture.
Ketsbaia
QPR could beat a shattered Everton tomorrow, then you have 2 teams just 1pt behind Sunderland. Oh man, if we could just avoid defeat to these.....

Dokko
If Burnley can get through the next 3 games and be within 2-3pts of them then they could do it.

Ashley17
I think it's an inevitable football irony that Pardew will beat them at the first attempt with Palace. All their pace on the break against that defence might make it interesting

triggs
Maybe the ref didn't give the foul for that because the Sunderland didn't complain to the referee after he had already let the goal stand and obviously wasn't going to rule it out. Aye thanks for that Phil
