Blackpool 0-1 Newcastle United (FT) post-match discussion from p12

Santon has apparently put in another good cross

This s*** is too much to take.

He's got a very good left foot. The problem is he seldom uses it.

Oh No he hasn't...

Aye but you think Beardsley was a midfielder.

Pipe down & actually watch.  :aww:

He's absolutely right though. If Santon has a "very good left foot" as you say, it's about time he started showing it on the pitch..

Chelsea home - there's one for a start - a left footed assist & he put a few more decent balls in - the problem is there's never anyone who can header there to slot it in.

Which one of the two right footed assists are you referring to here?

And while you are at it check out his (Beardsley)page on .co.uk and wiki which both having down as midfielder/forward which i alluded to in the other thread...

Nah you called him a midfielder. He was in his twilight but as a player you'd call him a striker as I said :)

I said if Scholes is being classed as a midfielder then so could Beardsley... And went on to give examples of when he played in midfield whilst in his prime...
