Coco
I'm guessing this isn't proving too popular, I've just got an e-mail from the club reminding me that tickets are still available. Pretty damning indictment of how the fans see the club right now, considering that this is the first home game of the season.
JH
Had a dream last night that we went 1-0 down in this to Nolan in like the 80th minute and Cisse just stopped playing. Just stood still outside their area and everything. I think this is a pretty damning indication of the fact that Shola needs to start.
Guest chopey
I thought Cisse had his worst game in a black and white shirt on Monday, he must still be thinking of all those poor souls that have those Wonga loans who he meets working in the Casino. WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Looking forward to a lovely little 2-0 defeat with no creativity or cohesion whatsoever.
Ikon
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-pardew-wants-better-service-5780382 Cheick Tiote and Jonas Gutierrez are also ruled out, while Steven Taylor starts a three game ban Not sure if correct info, hopefully.. NEEJ
Looking forward to a lovely little 2-0 defeat with no creativity or cohesion whatsoever. How can we be expected to play with creativity when we're playing West Ham? It's an impossible task.
Taylor Swift
No Tiote and no Jonas? Wow, we're winning for sure.
Ikon
No Tiote and no Jonas? Wow, we're winning for sure. Pardew will mess it up anyway. Sammy and Shola probably...
Rich
You not see the team that has been posted by a few people? Of course we'll not know for sure until 2pm but it's very likely: Krul; Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Coloccini, Santon; Ben Arfa, Anita, Sissoko, Marveaux; Ameobi, Cisse. Tooj
Sick of the media giving Allardyce a pedestal to spout his drivel about our fans and their unrealistic expectations. Have a read of this board and it couldn't be further from the truth.
Ste
They're a team that allows their manager to pick out the players to suit his style. That's their major advantage from the get go.
Guest neesy111
Think this will be a pleasant game, without much incident and passing off trouble free.
merlin
I never predict the results of games we are involved in - nobody in football has been less predictable than NUFC over the years but Monday's result was one anybody could have seen coming. Even if we were to win this by 3 clear goals, it wouldn't alter my view as to Pardew's capabilities (or lack of them) as a manager.
BleedsBlackAndWhite
Dunno if we're allowed to talk about this, if not can someone pm me please. What bars in the toon will be showing this? A decent 1 where it won't be 20 minutes to get serverd Cheers.
Ikon
If it meant getting rid of Pardew (guaranteed) i would easily take a loss.
Guest bimpy474
I think we are hoping for this (full back positions depending on Santons fitness). Krul Krul Debuchy(Santon) Colo Mapou Santon(Dummett) Debuchy(Santon) Colo Mapou Santon(Dummett) Anita Ben Arfa Anita Sissoko Marveaux Or Sissoko Marveaux Cisse Gouffran Ben Arfa Cisse Gouffran But i fear as laughable as it would be, we could get this. Krul Debuchy(Santon) Colo Mapou Santon(Dummett) Ben Arfa Anita Sissoko Sammy Cisse Shola
Ikon
The upper one to the right would be lovely Bimpy!
Leazes1986
I'm convinced Shola will start alongside Cisse for his height. Pardew worrying about the opposition again. Think he will lose any last bit of patience if he starts Sammy and Shola and we get beat
Big Geordie
Like others, I can see the crowd turning if we go a goal down. It's been brewing for a long time. I hope I am wrong however. Also shameful if Cabaye does not play again. Ashley protecting the chance of a sale.
Ikon
If we're gonna play West Ham's game we'll lose, if we play our own with an offensive and positive style with movement we'll win easily (Which wont happen)
Ikon
Btw, i think Colo and Mbiwa will be mint today.. And Benny
Guest bimpy474
The upper one to the right would be lovely Bimpy! That's how i'd like him to play, i just can see it. It's too sensible and too attacking for him.

LoveItIfWeBeatU
"We're shit and we're sick of it" was the chant during Allardyce's time at NUFC but the 'experts' in the media say we wouldn't have been relegated if he hadn't been sacked. They wrongly seem to think we were relegated in the season Allardyce was sacked. I bet those same 'experts' also don't remember the 4 points we gave to Derby County. Whatever regrets NUFC have, sacking Allardyce shouldn't be one of them. Appointing him in the first place was the regret. The same media 'experts' said Sunderland were wrong to sack O'Neill. Anyone with a brain knew they were doomed until they replaced him.
