Newcastle United vs West Ham United - Sat 24th August @ 3pm (not on TV)

I'm guessing this isn't proving too popular, I've just got an e-mail from the club reminding me that tickets are still available. Pretty damning indictment of how the fans see the club right now, considering that this is the first home game of the season.

Had a dream last night that we went 1-0 down in this to Nolan in like the 80th minute and Cisse just stopped playing. Just stood still outside their area and everything.

I think this is a pretty damning indication of the fact that Shola needs to start.

I thought Cisse had his worst game in a black and white shirt on Monday, he must still be thinking of all those poor souls that have those Wonga loans who he meets working in the Casino.

Looking forward to a lovely little 2-0 defeat with no creativity or cohesion whatsoever.

How can we be expected to play with creativity when we're playing West Ham? It's an impossible task.

You not see the team that has been posted by a few people? Of course we'll not know for sure until 2pm but it's very likely:

Krul; Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Coloccini, Santon; Ben Arfa, Anita, Sissoko, Marveaux; Ameobi, Cisse.

Sick of the media giving Allardyce a pedestal to spout his drivel about our fans and their unrealistic expectations. Have a read of this board and it couldn't be further from the truth.

I never predict the results of games we are involved in - nobody in football has been less predictable than NUFC over the years but Monday's result was one anybody could have seen coming.

Even if we were to win this by 3 clear goals, it wouldn't alter my view as to Pardew's capabilities (or lack of them) as a manager.

I think we are hoping for this (full back positions depending on Santons fitness).

                                  Krul                                                                                          Krul

Debuchy(Santon)  Colo    Mapou    Santon(Dummett)              Debuchy(Santon)  Colo    Mapou    Santon(Dummett)

                                                                                                                                  Anita

Ben Arfa        Anita          Sissoko          Marveaux            Or                        Sissoko          Marveaux

Cisse            Gouffran                                                      Ben Arfa        Cisse            Gouffran

But i fear as laughable as it would be, we could get this.

                                  Krul

Debuchy(Santon)  Colo    Mapou    Santon(Dummett)

  Ben Arfa        Anita          Sissoko          Sammy

                        Cisse          Shola

The upper one to the right would be lovely Bimpy!

That's how i'd like him to play, i just can see it. It's too sensible and too attacking for him.

"We're shit and we're sick of it" was the chant during Allardyce's time at NUFC but the 'experts' in the media say we wouldn't have been relegated if he hadn't been sacked. They wrongly seem to think we were relegated in the season Allardyce was sacked. I bet those same 'experts' also don't remember the 4 points we gave to Derby County. Whatever regrets NUFC have, sacking Allardyce shouldn't be one of them. Appointing him in the first place was the regret.

The same media 'experts' said Sunderland were wrong to sack O'Neill. Anyone with a brain knew they were doomed until they replaced him.
