Guest Roger Kint
The clubs media partner is saying we dont need a new striker as Armstrong is ready to come in. Made last nights game sound like a hell of a showing mind.......

Collage
Aye that'd be fucking class, typical NUFC player (and non-typical Pardew player). Can't see it happening.
sempuki
Would they not like this: Connor Wickham could follow Jack Colback to Newcastle United for cut-price £6m with Sunderland yet to offer striker new contract despite 'sign or go' ultimatum from Gus Poyet (Daily Mail)
Ryan
I'd take him but it seems like then we'd have 3 or 4 average strikers and still not one that would bag us 15 a season.
loki679
He's only got a year left, right? Not sure about him, he seemed to have a fair bit of potential but hasn't had much of a chance to show it in the PL yet. Offer them £3m and just see how we get on with what we've got til January if they knock it back.

loki679
The Uruguayan said: 'For me, Connor’s situation is clear. He needs to sign a new contract or we let him go – we sell him. There is nothing in between.' The 21-year-old has one year to run on his current deal and has not been offered a new contract He needs to sign a new contract or we let him go has not been offered a new contract wat
aussiemag
We would have 5 strikers with immense potential in Armstrong, Ferreyra, Riviere, Perez and Wickham. But none of them would score more than 15 goals in a season.
r0cafella
Has 3 good months and that's about it. Given the unproven strikers we have the last thing we need is another one.

Pilko
Very much doubt we would get Wickham but he'd be a class signing.
huss9
Very much doubt we would get Wickham but he'd be a class signing. he'd be another in a long line of "back up strikers". we need an out and out proven goalscorer.
loki679
Might be worth it to to wind up the mackems. Good chance we're not gonna have much to cheer about this season, might as well take the lols where we find them.
