                        Krul

Debuchy Coloccini Yanga-Mbiwa Santon

            Anita Cabaye Sissoko

          Ben Arfa Rémy Gouffran

That's a f***ing excellent starting 11. Win 3-1.

:pedro:

I'd love that but no doubt Jonas will be fit and it being away it'll be more like

Debuchy Taylor Colo Santon

Sissoko Cabaye Tiote Jonas

            Cisse    Shola

Taylor and Shola aren't starting, Jonas could but i doubt it, Tiote is a big possibility, if fit.

What's our record down at Villa in the PL? Sure it's one of our better hunting grounds, usually fancy us putting up a good show when we play them down there.

It's decent.

Last season's second half at Villa Park. :scared:

That game defined the term, a game of 2 half's.

Switched around this year, been starting off poor, then picking things up second half, strange.

Looking our record at Villa it seems decent enough, hopefully we can improve it again on Saturday.

I'd be ecstatic with that lineup. Not sure how likely it really is though... we'll see.

I expect it to be 4-4-2 based on comments from Pardew about the Cisse, Remy partnership (and playing 4-4-2 the last two games).  I think it'll be:

                                  Krul

Debuchy  Yanga-Mbiwa  Colocinni  Santon

Ben Arfa      Sissoko      Cabaye  Marveux

                      Remy          Cisse

Though that's harsh on Anita, and Pardew may start him instead of Cabaye and I think that assuming Jonas' fitness is up to scratch there's a good chance he'll start.  There's also a fair chance Taylor will start ahead of Yanga-Mbiwa "to deal with Benteke".  He'll inevitably fail but it's obviously a reasonably likely thing to happen.

We must go with an unchanged back 4 in front of Krul.  The chopping & changing of that back line has to stop, there needs to be some continuity and I'd rather see MYM continue to work well with Debuchy and being partnered by Capt'n Colo.

If Cabaye is to start, then a 3 man midfield with Sissoko + Anita retaining his place b/c of his excellent form. Up top it has to be Hatem, Remy (if fit), and Cisse.

If Cabaye is not starting I'd consider replacing Marv for Gouffran to give us some pace & energy out wide with Remy and Cisse up top. Hatem out wide as usual and Sissoko + Anita retaining their partnership in the middle of the park.

Either line-up should get us at least a point and if we start with the first one, we should be capable of getting 3 points. The key for us to attack and impose our game on Villa - the end of the Fulham match has to be the springboard (I hope).
