Robertson is injury prone and 29, and several other squad members are in their 30's (Thiago, Matip, Endo). Klopp started the rebuild of the midfield but Alonso favours a more patient style of play. Also Salah (well his agent)has repeatedly been in dispute with the club behind the scenes over wanting a larger share of the money coming in commercially from the middle east so he could be looking at this summer as the perfect time for pastures new.
