Extremely odd, not that I don’t rate Kompany. I think he is a good manager and with the right players he’ll show that consistently but he’s still very early in his managerial journey and they’re having the most difficult time in over a decade

It's crazy that Kompany going to Bayern isn't even the biggest "How the fuck did he get that job?" today. Rooney getting another shot in the Championship is crackers.

 

I like Kompany, so hope he does well. I just feel sorry for Plymouth fans.

Feels like Burnley have just been an experiment for him, sticking to his guns despite its sending them straight back down with a whimper as opposed to changing it up a bit and giving the club the best chance. Worked for him so fair enough just a bit shop-windowy.

Goes hand in glove with their "strategic" approach to owning a football club. Have a money ball approach to player recruitment based on buying young unproven talent, then hire a manager who just left a club due it's policy of signing young unproven talent over more experienced players.  Can someone get me some popcorn while I sit back and enjoy this?
