The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Steve Cooper sacked by Leicester

Recommended Posts

There are so many better options than Lampard they could go with. Allegri, Javi Gracia, Nuno, Eddie Howe.

Abramovich is only able to make football decisions 'superficially'. Not with insight or a knack for spotting a gem. The sacking of Benitez and Ancelotti (simply because of outside pressures or influences), the signing of Ba and Sarri (and his departure!), etc.

I like this for some reason.

PFMs are going to be seething about this carry on.

Hippo heed was on Talksport a few weeks back ranting about clubs not only appointing foreign managers but starting to hire foreign assistant managers as managers now too.

Garry Monk sacked by Birmingham. He'd be a decent Rafa replacement.

Doesn't have much luck that lad, but at least Derby can get a good replacement manager.

Birmingham's by far the best job he's done, that club's a complete mess and he did well last season.

Birmingham fans won't have a bad word for him.

Swansea fans won't have a good one.

Seemed a bit of a dick towards the end at Swansea outside looking in, but the pressure at the bottom end of the Premier League can be a bit crushing, especially for a manager in his first job.

He seems to have fallen into the Lee Clark trap of just bouncing around basketcase clubs - wasn't Monk at Leeds when that bat shit crazy Italian was going through coaches like underwear?
