jdckelly
why do I get the feeling they're hoping he just walks away so they don't have to pay any compensation
The College Dropout
Koeman, Bilic and Hughes could all be gone this week. Think Hughes has got a few games in him yet tbh, Koeman and Bilic i wouldn't be surprised if both go before their next games. This. Will be interesting to see who they bring in though, Ancelotti, Pellegrini (and maybe Tuchel) really the only decent managers available. There are more than 6 good managers in the world. Look at Silva. Pocchetino. They are out there - just need the spotting. Koeman and Bilic aren't bad managers imo. They will keep the teams up if given the chance. If they both architected the summer spending then they do deserve to get sacked like, West Ham such an old, over the hill team.
Mole_Toonfan
I'd be surprised if West Ham don't change their mind with the next 6 weeks.
Disco
Every one involved with West Ham aside from Bilic is a creepy nonce so you'd not be surprised.
HaydnNUFC
I'd be surprised if West Ham don't change their mind with the next 6 weeks. Their next 6 fixtures Spurs (a) (LC) Palace (a) Liverpool (h) Watford (a) Leicester (h) Everton (a)
Mole_Toonfan
If he wants to keep his job he'll need to win at least 3 of those imo. Unfortunately for him i don't think they will.
Guest
Would Everton go for Bilic?
STM
Would Everton go for Bilic? If they are wanting to compete for top 4 they must be aiming higher. Brendan Rodgers would be a good shout.
Dr.Spaceman
Basically Gold's top targets have said 'no' then.
Guest
Could see Stoke trying to go for Allardyce. They'd fit like a glove and he'd probably do well there.
STM
Good shout. Allardyce would bring back the Halcyon days of Pulis
The College Dropout
Nah Stoke want to play football. Rodgers is a more likely move. Don't see Hughes leaving unti closer to Christmas and they're in real danger though
Guest neesy111
Stoke are nothing like the team they were under Pulis.
Guest firetotheworks
Ironically Stoke's problem is that they're playing a bit too much in that Pulis/Allardyce style when they have the players who are much better suited to a passing game. Ketsbaia
How have we reached 2017 without a Stoke and Allardyce hook-up? That feels wrong.
Dinho lad
Allardyce is retired.
Pixelphish
Allardyce is retired. Depends how big the brown bag is.
Guest firetotheworks
Allardyce is retired. I don't think anyone really believes that.
Dinho lad
Okay, please explain to me the rationale behind his master plan? Thank you.
Guest firetotheworks
His master plan? People always say they're retired when it just means they're not actively looking for work but if something comes along that they fancy they'll suddenly come out of retirement. He's already been heavily linked to the U.S job through sources close to him.
Dave
Allardyce is retired. Wish he was, the fat skin job.
Dinho lad
He might take a "part-time" role, but I don't think he'll involve himself in the hectic running of a football club again. I think when he retired he mentioned something about his wife and that he wants to spend more time together.
Interpolic
His wife's probably fed up with that now though.
Guest firetotheworks
Imagine Sam Allardyce just around the house. I bet he has those Fray Bentos tinned pies.
