Kanj
Cunha would easily be our solution to LCM / attacking mid and could play up front and give us a totally different dimension.

Paullow
I always think this, but it probably would have been better for Martin to have lost the playoff final to Leeds last season. They'd be winning more games, towards the top of the table, playing good football and probably under minimal pressure - doubt he would have got much of a pay rise either, but as it is, much tougher job, always likely to be in and around the bottom 3/4, and under constant pressure and scrutiny. Big Geordie
Inevitable. Players had given up on him.

Skeletor
Quote Southampton manager Russell Martin on the Ben Brereton Diaz and Fabian Schar incident: “When he (Ben Brereton Diaz) stands still and then (Fabian Schar) leans with his head, you give someone the opportunity to make the most of it. “I guarantee their players would have done the same. Haha. See ya dickhead.
Danh1
Wonder who goes there then? Gary O’Neil? Would be a very uninspiring appointment. Perhaps Mark Robbins or someone?

Doctor Zaius
Wolves have enough talent in that squad to stay up with the right appointment. Don't think anyone would keep Southampton up. Where do you even go? Bring in a progressive, forward thinking manager and carry on getting hammered, or bring in a conservative pragmatist for a bunch of players not used to playing that way. Leicester are the ones that'll struggle for me though. Not sure why they appointed Van Nistlerooy. They've went from Maresca, to Cooper and for some reason RVN. Suggests they have no clue what they're doing

Lotus
Not remotely surprised Martin’s gone. He seemed to feel he was above having to adapt his ‘style’ to suit the league he was in.
