Decky
Anyone seen the SSN feature on Mourinho? Their training ground is the best in the world never mind the stadium! To think we were level pegging with them when the fat wanker bought us FFS Even more incredible is how they have managed to invest huge amounts to build world-class facilities while also building and maintaining a top 4 squad. Levy could easily have sold them the idea of years in mid table in exchange for the stadium etc before pushing for top 4.

Kanj
However you look at it, Mourinho is a great manager. Question is whether he's a better fit for the Spurs strategy, or are they planning to change their approach to buy their way to the next level? Can you see Levy suddenly opening the purse strings for Mourinho? He wouldn't do it for Pochettino and they reached the CL final last season. I have plenty of respect for Mourinho's achievements, but why would he be more successful at Spurs than he was at Man U where he had an open purse? If you gave Poch that type of freedom, who's to say he wouldn't have done better? You'd assume that whatever Mourinho demanded to take the job, is happening, and whatever middle ground was decided, happened. And a transfer kitty was probably discussed...he is too well represented to be taking something and being fed lies. He's too smart for that.
KaKa
Yeah that's true. There's also a lot to work with in that squad as it is. He'll love a midfield three of Ndombele (Mikel role), Sissoko (Essien role) and Alli (Lampard role) I imagine. Son, Kane and I'm guessing Lucas Moura as his front three. Got a lot of top defenders too that will look a lot better in a slightly more defensive setup. Could be very good.
Guest chopey
15 of the last 30 England debutantes were coached by Poch
KaKa
That's going out the window under Mourinho. In fact, I hope Winks has had fun up until now because I think he's going to be out of the team.
Gallowgate End
#thfc have informed Jose Mourinho that he will no funds to spend in the upcoming January transfer window. [The Guardian] After he signed the contract or before?

Disco
Are Spurs skint? Spunked it all on their stadium and soon to be having to give away Eriksen, Alderweired, Rose and Vertonghen for £ballsall

Decky
Can see them selling Kane and giving Mourinho about £200m next summer.
AyeDubbleYoo
Can see them selling Kane and giving Mourinho about £200m next summer. If it wouldn’t cost £100m to replace him it would be a good idea.
KaKa
I mean ... I was looking at the squad earlier and how much do they really need? Think he has a decent squad to work with as it is. Upgrades on the full backs would probably be the key thing.
Ketsbaia
I wonder if Ryan Sessegnon has any sort of future there.

Gallowgate End
Richard Keys Been told time & again today ‘Mourinho doesn’t get @SpursOfficial DNA’. Yes he does. We all do - pretty football & finishing 3rd or 4th - occasionally 2nd. He’s not there to do that - he’s there to win. You needed Eddie Howe if you wanted pretty. Deuce
Would love for him to lead them to some silverware, just for the fewm on here. He’s a brilliant, ruthless asshole of a manager and the league is better with him in it.
triggs
He's not been brilliant in ages and anything he adds to the league is for people who prefer media built controversy to actually watching football

Guest
The sad thing is, he might finish 5th and fluke a Carabao Cup win and he’ll be lauded for it even though Spurs have been finishing top 3/4 and reached a CL Final.
