Deuce
Starting to get the feeling that this will be a pretty good tournament. Brazil will be hyped-up, as will their rivals in Argentina and Uruguay. Europe will bring the traditional heavyweights and all of CONMEBOL's qualified teams have a lot of firepower. The other regions seem to be bringing their strongest contingents too.

Pandamninator
"We beat a team that is no more than a group of buddies who were rejected because they couldn't play rugby in New Zealand well and they had no choice but to switch to soccer,'' Sanchez told Mexican newspaper El Universal." I lol'd. Pretty much sums up what has been a clusterfuck of a World Cup campaign for both us and the Mexicans tbh. Sanchez has probably stumbled onto something, we may as well have trotted out the All Blacks, doubt they'd have done any worse, and the set pieces would've been better at least. Deuce
Ghana through to Brazil. Feel bad for Egypt. At least they finished on a high note, with a win at home.

Very annoyed that Algeria have managed to qualify again. I thought Burkina Faso would complete a West African (give or take Cameroun) quintet for Brazil. We came close. Kaizero
Such a shame Iceland didn't make it. Also a shame Ronaldo made it ahead of Zlatan. Zlatan by far the more interesting player to watch.

MKSC
Qualifiers (I'm assuming Mexico and Uruguay don't monumentally fuck up their playoffs) Brazil (WR #11) Spain (1) Germany (2) Argentina (3) Colombia (4) Belgium (5) Uruguay (6) Switzerland (7) ---------------------- Netherlands (8) Italy (9) England (10) Portugal (13) Greece (15) Bosnia (16) Croatia (18) Russia (19) ---------------------- France (21) ---------------------- Chile (12) Ecuador (22) ---------------------- Ivory Coast (17) Ghana (23) Algeria (32) Nigeria (33) Cameroon (59) ---------------------- USA (13) Mexico (24) Costa Rica (31) Honduras (34) ---------------------- Japan (44) Iran (49) South Korea (56) Australia (57) Would make sense for them to lump the four Asian teams and the four Central/North American teams in a pot and then put France, Chile and Ecuador in with the five African teams. Disco
If they did that (and it makes sense to me), whoever is the spare European team will be in Brazil, Argentina, Colombia or Uruguay pot IIRC.
