Sima
No Drogba in the starting XI. Ivory Coast XI: Barry, Boka, Zokora, Kalou, Tiote, Gervinho, Bony, Aurier, Toure ©, Serey, Bamba #CIVvsJPN
chicago_shearer
Also, Rooney never left 2010. Drop him Roy.
Incognito
Best performance in defeat we have had in ages....bit more cutting edge from strikers, bit more desire to get on the end of things and who knows. Positives for me. After the disgrace of 4 years ago this is a million miles from that. Its all about the next Euros and 2018. Yep. The old guard of Gerrard etc. weren't good enough in their prime but they're doing a nurturing job and like you say 2016 onwards should be even better. Sifu
Defensively i have concerns about us. Before tonight I thought RB would be an issue but it seems both sides could be an issue...

The Prophet
Entertaining game. Pirlo was absolutely magnificent. Think Italy are certain to qualify now, second place is anyone's game. England need to sort out that left hand side like Italy had a field day.
B-more Mag
Why do they keep talking about hot and humid? It's in the 80s and 70 some odd percent humidity. Er... Not that bad, frankly.
Hanshithispantz
Two pretty poor sides, imo. Not impressed by either team. Both will probably go through, but England will struggle. Maybe I'm just used to utter shit football, but I honestly thought England played well today So did Italy, and once they decided to shut up shop our final ball was lacking, but I thought all in all it was a good display. Better than I expected anyway.
Wullie
Loads of positives for England. Play like that against the other two and we go through. I agree. We've been sucker punched tonight really, we had the majority of the fret.

Hanshithispantz
Also, Rooney never left 2010. Drop him Roy. I've championed for Rooney recently but he was fucking horrible today like He needs to wind his neck in.

The Prophet
This England side are a breath of fresh air in comparison to the usual dross but there were as many negatives aspositives for me.
Gallowgate Toon
Too soft in the middle, needed a more savvy defending midfielder there to cover space left open. Promising but we need some work. Let's just play people in their right positions and aim for balance.

It's why Lampard is there. And it's why Ashley Cole should've been there.

jdckelly
Italy managed the heat and humidity much better than England who looked dead in their feet by 75-80 mins. Also I love Pirlo what a player
