What's the rule for red and pen? That's incredibly harsh for me..

A foul that denies a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

Annoying thing is, Mapou's not even trying to bring him down. It's just instinctive football play, it's almost impossible to avoid. Anywhere else on the pitch Suarez stays up and it's not even a free kick.

That is soft.Very, very soft.

Howay every striker is gonna go down under that contact.

Minimal contact, minimal.

Yes I can see why it was given, but for me football has to be a contact sport and penalties for this sort of minimal contact PLUS a red card just makes a mockery of the game.

That would not have been a penalty 20/30 years ago.

Football is getting soft as shite.

Still. We played well for 30 mins + so positives.

At least the commentators got what they want...

Wasn't it fucking offside?

Doesn't look like it. That's what the players were saying but the ref wasn't interested.

Players seemed convinced the linesman had flagged, but of course not one replay

I blame Tiote for taking 3 million years to get off his arse.

Totally agree but technically it is a penalty.
