Mick
I'll just add Chelsea to my ever growing list of clubs who we make look average/poor, Venky. Finally our performances of recent times get the result they deserve! Everytime I think we our playing our best football we come out the following game and play even better, superb stuff! People will start to take notice of us soon! Aye alreet, Bert. I wonder who else is on this "ever growing list of clubs who we make look average/poor." All them stated clubs just happened to not really turn up against us and played poor. 5 in a row, nothing to do with us being an effective team, more lucky the opposition weren't at their best? ikri
Missed the game live but just watched it all back. That was unexpected. I should put money on us losing more often. Didn't look great in the 1st half but 2nd half we were superb, made Chelsea look like us.
Tsunami
Chelsea and Jose got it all wrong today. We were quite clearly playing to staying the game throughout the 1st half and not run out of legs. We were the better team 2nd half but chelsea really shouldn't have let us have it so easy in the first half

Unbelievable
so were they just poor or did we make them look bad? or bit of both. Regardless you'd think someone in their side would have pulled some moment of magic out of the bag. They were poor, nothing we did made them pass to our players when they had plenty of time on the ball. Well it did actually, we closed them down, made it hard from them and kept our defensive shape. Do you think if we'd just been strolling around Chelsea would have spontaneously just been giving the ball away themselves?

Skirge
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho criticises his team and says Newcastle United were "much more committed than us" in 2-0 defeat at St James's Park "I didn't like it. I think we deserved to lose," Mourinho said. "We had a couple of good chances to score the equaliser, but they were in the game more than us, they fought more than us and they were much more committed than us. "They were the best team on the pitch. If someone had to win, I think it was Newcastle, not us.

Guest bimpy474
yellow card for that Credit to Mark Halsey, he said it was wrong for refs to have to book players for doing it, He said let them celebrate that way.
Disco
yellow card for that Credit to Mark Halsey, he said it was wrong for refs to have to book players for doing it, He said let them celebrate that way. It was taking his shirt off though surely, not going to the fan. Technically he could have been booked for both.

But both aren't booking imo. That's the FIFA/UEFA interference that's just stupid.

BrettNUFC
The ref should have grown some balls and sent of Ramires when he was refusing to come over to him for his yellow card. Can't believe he eventually walked over to him and give him it. Should have booked him for the foul, booked him for his dissent and sent him on his way. Refs have the most authority on the pitch yet players walk all over them.

A player does not have to go the ref at all and cant be booked for not doing so, he can be booked for ignoring the ref when the ref is addressing him. Surely it's dissent to clearly ignore the refs whistle though? Not too mention disrespectful as fuck. Typical Chelsea.

So a player can just run off 20 yards then say to the ref, if you want to book me, you jog over to me...neeee chance, should have sent the kernt off. Like i said you can be booked for ignoring the ref, whistle or not but you dont have to go to him. Personally i think you should and the rules should be changed to reflect that, but as it stands a player doesn't have to, he just has to acknowledge the ref addressing him.
