I would say at the moment they do not have enough quality players for any formation. But certainly they could play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 which means they would have 2 CM from the pool of Ugarte, Mainoo, Eriksen and Casemiro and Bruno above them. Amad and Garnacho on the wings and either Zirkzee or Höjlund up top. Still no LB or enough wingers though..

Do you think he needs to clarify his statement then?  Because the official Premier League website, basically the blandest matchday programme of football news and who could hardly be described as having a history of sensational headlines originally had this title for its article

He said in the same sentence, "I know you want headlines. There's your headline." You could almost say it was a tongue in cheek remark based on that.

 

Maybe he does need to clarify what he said mind, and I'm sure he'll be asked about it before the next match in the press conference so will be given the opportunity to do so.

 

I agree with what he said though, that in this moment in time we're being the worst team in Man United history. I know we've been relegated before, but the form we're in is relegation form. I'm sure this is what he meant.

Yeah they do talks at the ground the odd time and sometimes show new signings about etc. Silly wee jobs a few times a year.
