If he spent less time trying to wrestle opponents that are much stronger than him and focused on getting his arse into the box he'd have a lot more goals. Hojlund spends 80 minutes facing his own goal. The best you could hope to get from Hojlund at the minute is getting the ball forward to him quicker, down the channels and in behind. And limiting any balls into him where he has to hold off defenders, as he's just not good at it right now. Ironically, a partnership of Hojlund and Zirkzee would be really interesting I think, as Zirkzee dropping into those spaces to hold up the ball, link play and also thread runners through, is very good. Unfortunately, Amorim's setup and style of play doesn't accommodate any of that sort of approach.

lovejoy Posted yesterday at 12:36 Share Posted yesterday at 12:36 (edited) There’s a big article in the telegraph about them today. someone called Kath had been at the club since the 60’s and was loved by all. So much so that Beckham and Ferguson went to visit her often. She died about a month ago. Someone at the club rang her next of kin 48 hours after she died to ask what was happening with her complimentary season tickets. Sellotape is sent back if it’s bought without sign off, bulk orders of vegetables for the canteen the same (yet they binned at least £9m on ashworth for 5 months work). It’s genuine madness what’s going on at that club. Edited yesterday at 12:36 by lovejoy

Groundhog63 Posted yesterday at 19:34 Share Posted yesterday at 19:34 Tbf to Ratcunt that article has the usual Telegraph whiff about it. I mean "Hollywood A lister offered to do references" 😂😂😂 Aye, Jimmy from property services has just rocked up for for an interview as caretaker at Trafford Primary School with a reference from Sigourney Weaver like 😉 Plus, anyone getting a full year's salary bonus for reaching 30 years is on a canny tickle there. Also, this Kath woman, bless her. Says the nurses were surprised how many visitors she got considering none of her family bothered. I think the club knew that and wanted the tickets back off of the scrote who ended up with them. Fair doos.
