Deuce
Can our bench beat a full-strength Cardiff? Guess we'll find out.
Yorkie
Can our bench beat a full-strength Cardiff? Guess we'll find out. You'd think we'll play a strong side given A - we're at home, B - there's no Europe to torture, maim and harm our feeble legs, C - a full week's break after the tie. Guest H09
Can our bench beat a full-strength Cardiff? Guess we'll find out. I'd be surprised if Cardiff went full strength, they have more important things to worry about
Ashley17
Can our bench beat a full-strength Cardiff? Guess we'll find out. Have you seen Cardiff's January fixtures? I'm not sure how full strength they will be. 6 pointer with West Ham the week after

leffe186
Liverpool have been given a potentially difficult tie, at home to either League One Oldham or League Two Mansfield.
Belfast Boy
Title is wrong, should be 4th or 5th. Is there any chance this could be the Monday night? I'm looking at flights from dublin but would be going back Monday lunch.

No confirmation yet, both clubs have requested the Sat 3pm slot but with the mackems possibly being in the Capital One Cup the following week it may well be us moving. Carlisle have said it wont be announced til after next Tuesdays game

Guest Roger Kint
Man Utd v Swansea televised. Sad state of affairs. Magic of the cup. Its not the worst game to show in all fairness compared to other choices. Why show terrible one sided rubbish like Chelsea/City's games over ones with a chance of an upset. Villa, Everton, Hull, Southampton etc all have tricky ties which would be better for TV.
Guest bimpy474
The last 43 (apprx) Man Utd FA Cup games on the trot have been televised. It doesn't matter which team they're playing home or away. It doesn't matter on what channel. Absolutely ridiculous.
Kanji
For once it would be nice to win this and then have some easy home or away fixtures where everyone celebrates the draws we get to help us get through towards the later stages and give this cup run a go. Scott Wilson @Scottwilsonecho 1m #SAFC to host Carlisle United in FA Cup third round on Sunday, January 5. So presumably that means #NUFC vs Cardiff on the Saturday. AndersonButler
Lee Ryder just tweeted that our match is at 3pm on Saturday 4th, whilst the mackems match has been moved to 2pm on 5th. I want to book a train on this basis, but not going to until I see confirmation elsewhere!
Pilko
It's the right choice moving the mackems like, a Sunday trip for Cardiff fans would be really difficult but not so much for Carlisle fans.
