Kanj
Always looks good when he drifts in and keeps the play moving and switches it wide. He needs to model his game off Valbuena. A wide #10 who is actually a wonderful decision maker in the final 3rd.
Gallowgate Toon
Still a bit jittery in the final third but his build up play was improved against QPR. Releasing the ball faster and playing to his strengths (agility, touch, pass & move). I don't mind him slowing things down a bit at times. We have a few players who play at full tilt when attacking, I see no issue having someone in there who thinks things through a little more, assesses situations and orchestrates a move. His ball to Janmaat against West Brom, for example.
ujpest doza
Other than be a bit indecisive and not selfish enough in the box I thought he had a good lively game. He was a bit isolated in the 1st half when everything went down our left, but otherwise he ahs improved massively.
KaKa
Love his game. Always sets someone up with a great scoring opportunity whenever he plays. So unselfish. That Ryan Taylor shot after the all world pirouette and lay off from Cabella, was extremely irritating.
Ikon
I like him. And he'll be class soon enough.
Ikon
Wouldn't surprise me if he's benched today despite playing well against QPR

BillClinton
Then why wasn't he starting against two sides we should be beating, Alan? Fucking hate this guy
ads
This quote from Pardew needs to make it into the thread title: "He’s only an eight stone Frenchman" http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/02/burnley-newcastle-united-premier-league-match-report
Pilko
You're being really selective there, he's basically saying that for a slight player he was powerful and strong in his performance.
ads
I get that, but even so "he's ONLY an eight stone Frenchman" is a ridiculous comment. How many other managers would say that about their own players? The guy seems to think you need to be well built to succeed in football, it's bollocks. ujpest doza
I thought he played well last night, ran at people and found space when others couldn't.
Jimburst
Definitely our best player on the night, probably along with Abeid (other than his woeful set pieces and long shorts).
