khay
He was good against Chelsea but does he have the chaos factor? Pardew clearly had no clue what he could do.

buzza
http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/why-cabella-actually-very-good-and-where-hes-still-going-wrong Spot on, his "dallying" and getting robbed of the ball are what wind me up badly. Used to having half a second or so more in france could easily be coached out of him...ahem... by our magnificent technical team... Insanity, I know! Kanj
many times you hold on to the ball a bit longer b/c there is fuck all to pass to ahead of you. and you've not got it coached in to you to constantly pass backwards.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Its massively important that Cabella, Sissoko and Perez are allowed the time and freedom to form an understanding together, those three are the absolute key to any chance of staying in the dizzy heights of mid-table if Carver stays. Ronaldo
He goes down holding his foot every time he strikes the ball.
TJM
Got to agree, had some hype this week, thought he would be right up for it, but was ineffective for the majority of the game.
54
He was by far our best player today imo.

Gallowgate Toon
Obviously nowhere near like last week but set up some opportunities with good link up and actually tried to do things. They shut down space very well, mind, just highlights how much we need a proper coach. I hope they persist with him. Being stop-start will achieve nothing, his confidence is fragile enough. The College Dropout
Thought he was decent. Southampton know how to defend but I thought he played fairly well. Sometimes you just hope for some top quality from him - like when he had that half-chance and he snatches at it.
Guest Recoba
He is the new jigsaw.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
Put the ball through for Gouffran's "goal" and put in that beaut of a ball for Perez that he nearly scored from, was decent on the wing early on as well, still improving IMO. Jimburst
Best player in a Newcastle shirt for large parts of the game, IMO. Think he's gonna get lots better.
ujpest doza
I thought he was okay, did some good things and never hid. Great ball for our goal as well as a great ball for Ayoze.
Gallowgate Toon
Looking back at the game, he was also way too deep at times, especially during possession play. He needs to be positioning himself in the final third more, a proper 'head coach' would see to that, I'm sure.
