sempuki
Wonder what the actual numbers are. They must have taken a massive hit.
ExiledGeordie
Why would you bother signing up now? At the very least you'd wait to see actual signings coming in and if that meant a season of picking and choosing one off games then fine. Committing fully at this stage just seems foolish to me. Mick
Newcastle united football company? is that new? sickening really. also got tickled with "it is your support that makes this club what it is" an embarrasing shambles . They're right, if idiots keep buying tickets they are supporting the regime and making the club what it is, shite.
Wallace
http://i.imgur.com/UClUJdH.png Newcastle united football company? is that new? sickening really. also got tickled with "it is your support that makes this club what it is" an embarrasing shambles . I was recently having a sort out and found some old letters from the club regarding the heritage stones when they were first launched in 2000 and "Newcastle United Football Company" was on the letterhead. So I am afraid that is one thing that Ashley is not responsible for.

Mick
Deadline extended again? They must be desperate, I packed mine in a year ago and I've started to get e-mails asking me to renew, it's not going to happen.

Shush
I don't know what our past letters to people who have not renewed season tickets read like, but that letter came across really desperate. Look at all the promises! and so far we've made no signings and yet to complete the backroom staff.

Danh1
Wouldn't have a season ticket for free now, when I got my first one when I was 14 it was like Willy Wonka's golden ticket. The club has plummeted so much since then and not just on the pitch.
TBG
Has this been extended again? It's mentioned in one of the Chronicle's articles this morning that is has, but i think it's just the Chronicle being the Chronicle. They show as being on general sale on the website now. Guest neesy111
That's it currently No way have we sold out the family section. They'll be pushing to sell the lower section first.
durhamunigeordie
They still haven't released the seats of those who didn't renew by Friday. Not really fair on those mad enough to be signing up for the first time - they aren't even going to get to watch our useless brand of football from the best available vantage point! Sir Toon
Interesting that I didn't renew but my seats show up on the official website as reserved/taken by me. There's also more seats available and I can bet anything that the number of 'available' will increase, every time one is sold because the club wont want to show the true 'available' figure. Matt
If people know there will be loads of tickets available for most games, then wavering renewers are more likely to chuck it, safe in the knowledge that there will be plenty of match-by-match tickets and they can pick and choose. That's the opposite of the business plan to lock people in to cheap tickets and keep them renewing through fear of missing out when things get better (which they never will). They might even keep those seats held back from new ST holders and then tempt the old holders back if we have a half-decent start to the season, making the seat available match-by-match in the interim. AyeDubbleYoo
Would be a risky move to deny a seat to someone who's ready to sign up right now. Guess there are plenty of alternatives.
