jdckelly Posted May 5, 2014 Share Posted May 5, 2014 Rodgers likes to make out that he's some kind of technically gifted coach but the way Mourinho and then Pulis got to his team, doesn't say much for his tactical awareness. 3-0 up and cruising, that result for Liverpool is inexcusable. That's a bit of a knee-jerk imo, they've been excellent generally and at 3-0 it made sense for them to go after the goal difference. Absolutely right on the last point though, drawing after that is inexcusable. Chelsea was the big fuck up. Hilarious like. I'd put it throughout the season their defense has never been anywhere near the standard of the attack and much as its not terribly popular defending well is just as important as attacking.
