Twinport53
Yeah but it obviously does. Lukaku has had it his entire career. People in football do it all the time - a passing resemblance, from same country or area. If Lukaku was ethnically Spanish with the same quality and ability he would get way less Drogba comparisons. Lukaku mentioned several times when he was younger that Drogba was his idol and who he wanted to be like though. And that's ok. But he actually isn't much like Drogba beyond physical attributes. He's more like Stromzy than Drogba.

AyeDubbleYoo
How old is he? He is one of the best #10s in the league. Maybe half a Lukaku is about right.
LRD
Leicester had a 40m bid rejected. And we were debating how much Sigurdsson is worth. Madness.

Groo
As a Swansea fan it feels good to see our owners being firm for a change, over the years its been depressing seeing the money going for players who are similar level to our best players and then seeing teams coming in for a cut price deal from us. Guest firetotheworks
You're all daft like. Plenty were trying to get you all up to speed on what the market value is now when it was pointed out that Sigurdsson's comfortably worth £40m+ and you were all insisting that it's still 2006. You all just need to accept it like. Unfortunately the club that we support needs to as well. It's 2017 lads, catch up. Even in 2017 he won't go more than half that, i'll bet money on it. How much did you lose mole?

geordiedean
How can promoted teams compete like? They can't it's impossible. May as well just do away with promotion to the premier league and make it a closed shop like US sports are Leicester bidding more than clubs budget on 1 player......fucking Leicester

Beren
Tbf, if you're Swansea, £50m is fair. Their squad is pretty thin on quality without him and attracting a quality player to Wales now with all the money flying about in the league in more fashionable areas like London and Manchester is a tough ask. Fair play to them
